Short Version:

CLU is a blog about ultimate. In Chicago.

Long Version:

CLU is a collaborative blog largely centered around the ultimate community in the greater Chicagoland area. We are fans, players, captains, coaches and participants of the sport. We strive to unify the disparate, scattered voices of a community split across multiple list serves, half-baked webpages and frequently-unavailable message boards. We believe that it can only help the community for rec-league players to see what club players are doing, for elite athletes to share opinions with casual pickup players, and for college teams to talk a little smack and promote their teams in this city where it is often difficult to be heard above the noise. We’ve noticed the dozens of digital cameras present at every tournament and have wondered out out why can’t sharing photos be easy — so we’re working hard to collect and syndicate the best ultimate-related media from Chicago-area events. We also acknowledge that this is something of a shot in the dark and very much a work in progress.
